ATHLETICS | Kick-off your weekend early with the LMU Men’s Basketball vs. Gonzaga game in Gersten Pavilion on Thursday, February 13 at 8 p.m. Student Housing will be hosting a pre-game tailgate in the Burns Recreation Center parking lot. Halftime will feature Amazing Sladek and the first 500 students in attendance will get a FREE limited-edition Loyolan Iggy Bobblehead.
Join athletic director, Craig Pintens, on Friday, February 15 at 3:20 in the Life Sciences Building Auditorium as we screen highlights from HBO’s 30 for 30 special “The Guru of Go” following LMU’s legendary Men’s Basketball Coach Paul Westhead and the LMU careers of Hank Gathers and Bo Kimble. After the screening, get pumped for the basketball game vs. BYU by learning some of our LMU cheers! At 7 p.m. head over to Gersten Pavilion to cheer your hearts out from the student section as our LMU Lions take on the Pepperdine Waves for the PCH Cup.
On Saturday, February 16 at 11 a.m. join your friends and family for LMU Game Day Experience with food trucks, inflatables, DJ, pep rally with drum line and spirit squad. At 1 p.m. head to Gersten Pavilion to cheer on the Lions at the LMU Men’s Basketball vs. BYU Cougars. Make sure to wear your Family Weekend T-shirt. Halftime will feature Red Panda and the LMU 2019 Hall of Fame Class.
