The Dean’s Den: Lions, Remember You’ve Got This!

DEAN OF STUDENTS | You’ve got this, and we’ve got your back! As you work hard in your academic courses to finish the semester strong, I want to remind you that there are many helpful resources at LMU to support your health and wellness available at lmu.edu/lionwellness.

One of our Ignatian values is cura personalis or care for the whole person. Caring for your whole person means balancing your mental, physical, emotional, spiritual and social needs, in addition to your academic commitments. So, as we look towards the final weeks of this fall semester, I want you to make yourself a priority and I encourage you to take charge of your health and wellness.

Prioritize the things that are best for you and will help you to be successful. Figuring out what works best for you is key to your academic success, make sure you get enough sleep, eat right and exercise. Make use of the resources available to you at lmu.edu/lionwellness. Take a Zoom group fitness class, attend virtual Wellness Wednesdays or access resources personalized for you on LMU CARES Online.
