Spotlight: Preparing for Workday

PROPEL LMU | Student employment is moving to Workday! All student employment processes, including searching and applying to on-campus jobs and entering time worked, will be conducted in the Workday system.

Below is what you need to know for the Workday launch on June 28.

Key Things to Know:

  • MyTime, LionJobs, SEA (Student Employment Authorization), and more are being replaced with Workday. See the full list of outgoing systems here.
  • Time Entry: Starting June 28, all student employees will begin entering time in Workday.
  • Payroll: Your first pay slip in Workday will be visible on July 16.
  • Workday Support: The support icon on the Workday dashboard will be home to numerous support resources, including training manuals and reference guides. You can also email workday@lmu.edu for assistance.

Accessing Workday:

Students may access Workday starting the morning of Monday, June 28. Workday will be accessible via the MyLMU/MyLLS home page navigation bar.

On June 28, all student employees will receive an email with everything you need to know for day one of Workday – including how to log in, where to get support, and a “day 1 checklist” that highlights key tasks to complete upon your first log-in to Workday.

Please be advised, Duo is required to access Workday. If you have not yet registered for Duo, please visit the ITS Duo page.

Workday Training – Coming Soon

Student Employment Services will offer dedicated Workday training (including live demos and webinars) ahead of the fall 2021 semester. Check your email in the coming weeks for more details!

Reminder: Transition Schedule

Various LMU legacy systems will continue to “sunset” in preparation for the transition to Workday. These offline periods are necessary to transfer data from the old systems to Workday.

  • June 11: last day to apply to a student employment job at LLS
  • June 17: last day to hire Westchester students in online SEA before Workday launch
  • June 23: MyTime goes offline at 5 p.m.

Please visit the Transition Schedule for a full list of dates, and check in with your immediate supervisor before the Workday launch to ensure you are fully prepared for the transition.
