10 Free Services You Didn’t Know You Had Access To at LMU

Here are a few (free) gems at LMU uncovered for your use!

1. Playa Vista Shuttle

All aboard! The university’s free shuttle service links LMU’s Westchester Campus to its Playa Vista Campus and Runway Playa Vista.

2. FitWell

A wide variety of classes, such as yoga (and sunset yoga!), cycling and F45 are offered daily – for free! Check out the fall 2019 schedule!

3. The New York Times Readership Program

Free access to The New York Times as provided by the Associated Students of Loyola Marymount University (ASLMU). Follow the instructions to get your crossword fix!

4. HBO GO®

Live on campus? You’ve got HBO GO®. For free! Student Housing provides this service. Just head to the website and select Loyola Marymount University from the drop-down provider list to get started.

5. LMU Athletics Tickets

Did you know all LMU students (undergraduate and graduate) can get complimentary admission to LMU Athletics’ regular-season games? Just bring a valid OneCard to be scanned at the entrance. 

6. The LMU Food Pantry

Food insecurity is a reality for many college students. Especially when meal points run out and students are left without means to purchase food. The LMU Food Pantry was established for students to take the food that they need! Hours and location here.

7. Student Health Services

Student Health Services is a full-service medical office on campus whose services include treatment for illnesses and injuries, preventive care, women’s health services, vaccinations and allergy shots, X-rays, health education/wellness programs and much more. There is no charge for office visits for undergraduates (although expenses may be incurred for lab tests, medications, etc.).

8. Student Psychological Services

Student Psychological Services offers psychological consultations to members of the LMU community, plus you can sign up to walk LMU’s therapy dog, Buster! Once again, these services are offered at no cost to you!

9. LMU Cares

LMU CARES oversees prevention and awareness education on topics including wellness, sexual assault, alcohol and drug consumption, personal accountability and dialogue across difference. 10.Sodexo Dietitian 

Schedule a complimentary consultation with the campus dietitian to learn about eating healthy on campus, vegan and vegetarian nutrition, and weight management options.
