STUDENT HEALTH SERVICES | Student Health Services (SHS) strives to keep all students safe and healthy by providing video visits through the confidential and encrypted platform called Zoom Health.
SHS health care providers can assist patientsby using the Zoom Health platform to monitor symptoms, answer questions about new or ongoing health concerns, offer treatment options, and refer to outside healthcare specialists when necessary.
Any student can schedule a video visit with an SHS healthcare provider whether they live on campus, in the local community or out of state. To schedule a visit, log in to MyHealth.lmu.edu to choose your preferred date and time for a visit and navigate to appointments.
If SHS determines a student needs an in-person visit with SHS, the following measureshave been implemented as important infection control precautions to safeguard everyone’s health, such as:
- Requiring all who enter the clinic to wear a mask;
- Symptom screening and temperature checks are implemented at arrival;
- Requiring all staff members to wear a mask at all times and use additional personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed;
- Cleaning and disinfecting of the facility cleaning;
- Placing air purifiers strategically throughout the clinic.
