UNIVERSITY BULLETINS | Donations and fundraising are the most effective assistance the LMU community can provide at this time in regards to fire relief efforts in Northern California. It is best that you make monetary contributions, no matter how small, so that agencies on the ground can use these funds to meet the needs of the victims of the fires in the most effective way possible.
The following agencies are on the ground and are already providing aid to fire victims:
- California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Relief Fund: For 18 years, the foundation has offered aid to those affected by wildfires. Grants have gone to rebuilding homes, providing financial and mental health assistance and helping those affected to get medical treatment.
- Airbnb: has opportunities if you have a place to offer people in a crisis.
- The California Fire Foundation: provides aid to victims of fires and natural disasters.
