UNIVERSITY BULLETINS | Donations and fundraising are the most effective assistance the LMU community can provide at this time in regards to Louisiana/Northeast hurricane relief efforts. It is best that you make monetary contributions, no matter how small, so that agencies on the ground can use these funds to meet the needs of the victims of the fires in the most effective way possible.
The following agencies are on the ground and are already providing aid to hurricane victims:
- United Way of Southeast Louisiana: All donations will support immediate relief efforts and long-term rebuilding and community grants to partner organizations providing direct services to assist with disaster recovery.
- Red Cross: The Red Cross is supporting victims of Hurricane Ida in Louisiana and the Northeast.
