DEL REY PLAYERS | The Del Rey Players invites all LMU community members to attend our reading of the play “Stand and Deliver” on Friday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. Produced in partnership with First to Go.
“Stand and Deliver” is based on the screenplay by Ramón Menéndez and Tom Musca and adapted for the stage by Robert Bella. Based on a true story, this drama follows Jaime Escalante, a dedicated East L.A. teacher, as he motivates inner-city students to work towards a class goal: taking the Advanced Placement Calculus Test.
