Mbongi Week Kicks Off Aug. 31-Sept. 2

BLACK STUDENT SERVICES | Join Black Student Services for Mbongi Week. Also known as Black Welcome Week, this event marks the Black community’s first school-year event after 18 months apart. It is also an opportunity for Black faculty, staff and students to embrace one another as we commit to another year of progress in the community.

“Mbongi Week is symbolic to the LMU Black Community as we dedicate new and returning community members to the goals and initiatives of this academic year,” said Jeffrey Dolliole, director for Black Student Services. “Our theme this year is ‘Commitment to Progress’ as we strive to build on the movement set by those before us.”
