LMU COLLEGE OF COMMUNICATION AND FINE ARTS | Ever want to write and direct your own play? This is your chance! The LMU Theatre Arts New Works Festival 2022 is now accepting applications – and is open to all students.
The New Works Festival is an opportunity for students to write, direct, design, stage manage, act, and produce original work. With the mentorship of faculty, students take the lead. We encourage students to submit plays (as many as you want!) for consideration.
The festival is open to a variety of styles of plays including, but not limited to: non-linear, site-specific, spoken word, devised theatre, experimental theatre, musical theatre, and whatever else you may have in the works!
