A Message from the Editor in Chief of The Tower Yearbook

THE TOWER YEARBOOK | Read a letter from this year’s The Tower Yearbook Editor in Chief, Christian Santander

Christian Santander, Editor in Chief, The Tower Yearbook

To my fellow senior Lions,

Well, that certainly wasn’t the senior year we expected…

Upon reflection, I can’t help but to think of the things we missed. We lost out on the many small moments that create a larger experience that defines our senior year: From seeing old friends on campus, to exploring the city Los Angeles with our favorite people; from just hanging out and enjoying each other’s company, to the satisfaction of doing well in person in a challenging class. Most of all, we missed out on that sunny Saturday morning in May where we all would’ve gathered with family and friends to celebrate. All of that, and more, we missed.

Our dread of FOMO turned into collective ROMO (Reality of Missing Out). It doesn’t seem right, but it is our reality.

While we know that a book cannot replace the experiences we lost as seniors, each member of The Tower yearbook staff worked hard to capture the joy, the anguish, the beauty and, most importantly, the reality of what will undoubtedly go down in history as the strangest senior year ever.

Please find a link to a downloadable pdf of The Tower yearbook here. Additionally, if you would like a printed copy of the book mailed to your permanent address, please fill out this form. (Note: This mail option is only available to Seniors who will not be returning to campus in Fall.)

Congrats, Class of 2020!
