ASLMU Elections For The 2021-22 Academic Year Will Take Place From March 23-25

The ASLMU Elections Committee is proud to announce that ASLMU elections for the 2021-22 academic year will take place from March 23-25.

Following the recent restructure that was passed by the ASLMU Senate this spring, the seats for which candidates can run are:

President and Vice President

Vice President of Cultural Affairs and Justice

Vice President of Sustainability and Operations

Vice President of Wellness

Vice President of Academic Affairs

Senators-at-Large (8 total)

The restructuring of our student body government was a collaboration of thoughts and ideas from members of the current Senate, Cabinet, and Leadership Team. The hope for the future of ASLMU is that this new structure will create new avenues for student advocacy and power. For more information on the new ASLMU structure, send questions to aslmu.vp@lion.edu.

We are currently seeking nominations for students who would make great candidates for these important leadership positions. Please consider nominating undergraduate students to run for ASLMU elected positions. (A student does not need to be nominated in order to declare their candidacy). Nominations are due March 5 at 5p.m. PST

For more information on how to run for an ASLMU position or if you have any questions, please see the ASLMU Elections LEO page or email aslmu.elections@lion.edu.
